FLUORITE GEMSTONES

Fluorite, CaF2, has been called the most colorful mineral in the world.  It occurs in almost every shade of the rainbow.  When faceted, it makes a stunning gemstone.  The hardness of fluorite is 4 on the mohs scale which limits its practical use in jewelry to pendants and earrings.  Fluorite may show as many as four colors in the same gemstone.  The following gemstones and carvings are now in stock:
