GARNET - (unusual)

Garnet is the gemstone for January.  Garnet is a gemstone with many colors and varieties.  Under this heading, we will list only the "unusual" garnets,  Malavi, Malaya,  Grossular, Chrome Pyrope  and Color Change.  All are beautiful and very wearable as they are listed at 7 to 7.5 on the mohs scale of hardness.  Garnet is widely available across the globe as well as here in the U.S.A..
