LABRADORITE / ANDESINE GEMSTONES

Labradorite, AlSi2O8, is produced in gem quality in Labrador, Canada.  Under this heading we will list the black irradescent form of as well as the (Andesine).  This gem is listed at 6 to 6.5 on the mohs scale of hardness.  It is a little known however beautiful gemstone that is constantly increasing in value.
