Finally, we found an accurate, compact and affordable digital scale that is suitable for jewelry & gemstone collectors! This completely portable scale, manufactured by Ace measures 2 1/2"x 4 1/2" and is 1 1/4" thick. It has a 20 gram and 100 carat weighing capacity.  It reads in grams, carats, pennyweights and grains. There is a backlit LC display panel. It operates on four AAA batteries that are included and installed.  The operation of every unit is tested before it is shipped. It features a flip open cover to protect the delicate weighing surface and it keeps wind from causing a measurement error. This scale comes complete with two 10 gram calibration weights and a pair of gem tweezers. It is accurate to within .001 gram. The packing box comes with a magnetic closing lid for safe storage.
