TOPAZ GEMSTONES
Topaz is a popular gemstone that has been used for centuries for jewelry. The golden brown and yellow colors are classic and are the birthstone for November but are sometimes confused with the less valuable citrine. This page list a partial inventory of our sky blue topaz, our swiss blue topaz, our london blue topaz and includes some "paraiba" and "mystic" topaz. Our finished blue topaz jewelry can be seen here. The refractive index is 1.61 to 1.64 with an orthorhombic crystal system. Most of our topaz gemstones come from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
